airfieldsim Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 I have been using Ctrl + Print Scrn to take screenshots. There are a number of screenshots capturing software out there that will not only capture the screen, but also allow you to edit. Which ones are the best ones? below is a list of the ones I have found so far, please comment - let me know which ones you use.Screenshot 1.0 Price: FREEhttp://download.cnet.com/ScreenShot/3000-2192_4-10423334.htmlA list of paid software:http://www.newfreedownloads.com/find/screenshot.htmlSome tips on how to take a screen snapshot:Windows: http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htmMAC : http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/screencapturemac/ht/macscreenshot.htmVista using Snipping tool: http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/microsoft/ht/snippingtool.htmLinux: http://tips.webdesign10.com/how-to-take-a-screenshot-on-ubuntu-linuxThose of you with more experience can elaborate on the subject. Cameron Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Don't forget that you can also just press CTRL+. in sim and it will save a screenshot to your X-Plane folder! Quote
JBalsa Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Cameron, isn't it Ctrl . (Cmd for mac)?Whenever I take screenshots in different programs, I just press Cmd Shift 4. (Mac)When I do that, a crosshair comes up and you simply select the area you want to capture. Simple.I don't see why you would ever pay for screenshot capture software. Now all we need is built in video capture... Quote
