FMC ISSUES: HOTSTART Challenger 650

Hello I've been doing several flights in the Challenger and I love it. It's a fantastic product. However the past couple of flights I get a MSG on my FMC saying "XTALK FAIL" and my flight plan info won't carry over to all FMCs. Also even with my Simbrief ID it won't pick up my flight plan from sim brief it just says "REQ PENDING" for 10-15 mins then goes away.

This usually means you're not following the checklists closely enough and are not waiting for A/C power to be applied to the aircraft and the FMS2/3 to power up before using FMS1 to set up databases, enter flight plan, etc.

Thanks! Any idea on the difficulty getting Simbrief flight plans to load? I have the ID in of course and have used it without issue in the past!

Attach your Log.txt from a session where this issue occurs and we’ll see.
