Hi,

followed the instruction, plugins off etc.

X-Plane 10 still crashes right after trying to load the crj

Version: 10.04 Beta 6 (398)

Model: iMac12,2, BootROM IM121.0047.B1F, 4 processors, Intel Core i7, 3.4 GHz, 16 GB, SMC 1.72f1

Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6970M, AMD Radeon HD 6970M, PCIe, 2048 MB

please help, cause I love the plane....

None of this is helpful without your crash log and your log.txt file.

Please start a new topic, provide the scenario you are in to cause the crash, plus attach your logs as mentioned above.

DrK:

so here is the new topic...

-the scenario is: Start X-Plane, Open Aircraft, Select newest crj, 5sec later X-Plane crashes

-log files follow, the second I´m back to my iMac

Snip from your crash report:

This is almost definitely an out-of-memory condition. Try lowering the texture resolution before loading the CRJ. The texture sized at "extreme" quality settings is massive, and depending on the scenery installed in the area where you load, might be more than the virtual memory.

Note that we are talking about the virtual adress space here, which has nothing to do with the 16GB of RAM you have installed - which is certainly more than enough. Please read the Laminar blog post about virtual memory vs. RAM for the details: http://developer.x-plane.com/2011/12/bad-alex-bad-the-road-map-for-memory/
