docromano Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 (edited) Just wanted to create a short film of my beautiful CRJ and noticed, that it has a flying GPU This only happens in replay mode. Edited February 18, 2012 by docromano Quote
Japo32 Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 mmmm only GPU can appear if the option is put in the FMS and the parking break is set. But lot of things normally don't happend right in replay mode. Not only with the CRJ. I never had a problem.. All my movies are recorded with replay mode. Quote
philipp Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 The problem with custom animations (driven by custom datarefs) and replay mode is, that X-Plane doesn't record them. So if you plugged in the GPU, and then go into replay mode, the GPU will remain plugged in, because there is no way for X-Plane to know what the state of the GPU was when the replay was recorded. There is currently no way for a plugin to set up a custom animation for recording. This is a feature I will suggest to Ben Supnik when I meet him in two weeks - no promises though if he will listen to me Philipp Quote
Ben Russell Posted February 26, 2012 Report Posted February 26, 2012 sim/operation/prefs/replay_mode..... it is possible to do from inside a plugin, I need not describe the technicals to someone with Phils skill..Personally I just don't care about replay mode. There's far more important things to focus our efforts on.
