richiewinn Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 HiI'm brand new to this forum so apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place or posting a repeat (I"ve had a look and searched but I can't find anything).I have Goodway Flight Planner but it doesn't appear to work with the CRJ 200. You can create a flight plan and load it into the plugin but it wont' send to the FMS. Any help appreciated.Richie
Japo32 Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 It is not supported by goodway. They are the ones that have to. This airplane is complex enough to need an special work from them. But once you make the fight plan into the fms you can save it for future if you wish. Now with says and stars inclusion.
richiewinn Posted February 1, 2012 Author Report Posted February 1, 2012 Disappointing but thank you for the information.

philipp Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 (edited) Well, disappointing perhaps, but in real world, there is also no goflight. There is no way to automagically upload flight planes into the FMS in the real world (I know, very recent FMS in A320N/A380/Dreamliner have the possibility to get flightplans via a data uplink or through ACARS).Every airline has a collection of flightplans for the routes they fly regularly. They are known as company routes, and stored in a device called the DBU (Data Base Unit). They are updated every now and then (when necessary due to AIRAC changes) by inserting a floppy disk (yes, a floppy, not a CD or a USB pen) into the DBU.As we don't know which airline you are flying for, we allow you to generate the company flightplans by saving your routes to the harddisk (no need to insert a floppy for you ). Consult the manual on page 70 on how to save and load flightplans.Philipp Edited February 2, 2012 by philipp
