bonfiki Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 (edited) Programming FMS at LIMC, introducing SID and TRANS procedure Xplane crashes.... Edited January 23, 2012 by bonfiki
aviatop Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 I have found a bug in 1.4.1. Load a plane, then connect battery. In CDU go to Flight plan page. In Origin and DEST type any ICAO code of apt, for example UMMS - EVRA. Then type at scratchpad EVRA and paste it with L1 button to Origin. You will see Origin EVRA Dest [][][][]. And now, pasting any ICAO code to dest will cause CTD without error. X-plane is shutting down instantly. Win 7 x64 Pro.
bonfiki Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Programming FMS at LIMC, introducing SID and TRANS procedure Xplane crashes....I think is a Navigraph problem due to wrong procedures in FMS data, could you confirm that ?
bonfiki Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 In particolar: LIMC to LIRF route Karpi UQ705 Xibil rwy 35R sid FARAKxx trans KARPIxx
mutestyles Posted January 23, 2012 Author Report Posted January 23, 2012 I was programming the SID and STAR at the time of my crash as well
mutestyles Posted January 23, 2012 Author Report Posted January 23, 2012 Ok Cameron i did as you suggested. But it crashed still. So im guessing this is a SID STAR issue with the FMS. As soon as I select the transition on the SID x plane freezes and then crashes heres the new crash log. Hope this helps crash_log.txtLog.txt

philipp Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 @bonfiki: I just tried every combination of FARAxx SIDs with KARyy transitions at Malpensa and nothing crashes.Perhaps you also fell prey to some error copying/moving/fiddling with Navdata.Could you please first try to use a clean installation, confirm it works, and then move on using newer navdata. For the navdata, please observe the important announcement: Philipp

Can you please look what version of the plugin you are running (either on FMS STATUS page or in Plugin Admin->Plugin Information. What build number do you see there?

TristanDid you re-install and re-download the latest as instructed here?: http://forums.x-pilo...dpost__p__32036
deltapilot90 Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Sure did!So this is what happened as of just now. So I did not select the SID however the STAR worked fine. I decided to try DXO220/15 just to see if Phillip wanted to suprise me and instead it crashed again LOL. So maybe this one was my fault but the STAR works the SID doesnt. Tristan
deltapilot90 Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 I even did a fresh install as well. I'm sure the last min bugs would be squashed.
deltapilot90 Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 OK now I cant even put in a waypoint. No bueno Attached are the logs.Tristan.crash_log.txtCycle Dump.txtLog.txt
deltapilot90 Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 NO display on the ND. I'm putting the RJ200 away until its flyable. Looking forward to the fixes towards the bug.

bonfiki Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 (edited) this is my situation...look at distance from LIMC to LIRF (normally less than 300NM)all this is shown after introducing FARAK sid! Edited January 24, 2012 by bonfiki
philipp Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 @deltapilot90: All crash logs show the Xsquawkbox plugin is crashing. Could you please try removing the Xsquawkbox plugin and tell me if it works then? I wonder if this has anything to do with it, because I'm using XSquawkbox myself, but all your crash log.txt indicate so.@bonfiki: Could you please post - the navdata cycle you are using- the exact sequence in which you entered the flightplan, and of course the flightplan itselfAn additional plus would be:-try to recreate the fault situation-exec the flightplan-save the flightplan-post the saved flightplan here (you find the file under CRJ-200/plugins/CRJAvionics/routes/)Philipp
