GerdS Posted February 21 Report Posted February 21 Hi friends, sometimes with sun from back the panel is dazzling to much (see picture). Is it possible to disable the reflections? O. k., I can change the time, but it's only a workaround ... Quote
AnthonyFrancis Posted February 22 Report Posted February 22 GerdS, I can speak directly to your issue. I can tell you that RSG panels do not auto adjust to ambient lighting conditions in the space in which the flight sim is setup. E.g., on a recent flight at "night", over a very, very dark landscape and with the lights off in my Sim Room, the glare from RSG PFD/MFD was so bright relative to the real-time/weather on approach into KUNV, I had to shield my eyes from the RSG glare to be able to see the runway to land. I talked with RSG, and its superb support team. I was advised that unless I am on a windows machine with a graphics card that itself provides for changing the illumination on the RSG panels, I'm out of luck. I'm on MacOS. So, is there a way for you to modify the ambient light conditions in the room in which your Sim is located? HTH, Anthony Quote
GerdS Posted March 7 Author Report Posted March 7 Thanks, Anthony, for your reply. But the issue is independed from my room light. I had a similar experience with the Phenom 300, where the Reflections can be disabled with its Plugin Tool. Thus I hoped there might be any similar solution for the Cirrus. But seems not - The producers are different. Quote
