SR22 / G1000 / X-PLANE 11 / PARKING BRAKE WON'T RELEASE

I just installed the SR22 G1000 version into X-plane 11.   I haven't been able to fly yet because the parking brake lever will not release using the mouse.  Any suggesitons appreciated.  Thanks

The "v" key should also trigger the parking brake to disconnect.

Thanks for the "v" tip, which does work.  I don't understand why the mouse won't push it forward to release the parking brake,  but the v at lest gets me flying!
