Hi there, I had a few months break since I last used X-Plane 12, it had a new update, so I downloaded, and installed to the old version. After this I'm having problems with the Challenger engine's and APU's sound. It's fully muted, or has very high tone low volume sound, and it's hard to hear. I have full silence in the cockpit, even if I use outside views. After I'm landing sometimes the APU sound is good. I tried to reinstall, it worked for a 5 hours flight, and when I tried to start a new flight from my saved position, after taking off the headset in the cockpit, it went away again. It's not so entertaining this way without a sound :)

Please tell me what should I try to do with it, thanks in advance!

Not something anyone else has reported, and general sound playback is handled by the simulator, so there’s probably nothing we can do if it decides to not work for you, unfortunately. You may want to get in touch with Laminar Research’s technical support.

The only other things I can think of is if you’re using a USB or wireless audio device that it’s disconnected or being disrupted somehow and the simulator isn’t picking it back up again. Or something else in your operating system is malfunctioning.

Every volume slider is in the correct position. Even the x-aviation external volume setting is correct.

Have you eliminated other scripts, or plugins? Fly with Lua, etc.?
