One thing I've noticed though is that when you arm autopilot modes (LNAV, HDG SEL etc.) on the ground the trim wheel starts to go crazy. This is without pressing any of the CMD/CWS buttons. Normally only the pilot and the autopilot can trim the aircraft, both on the ground and in the air. One thing - in the 737 Classic you do not ARM any modes on the ground, you use the TOGA buttons to trigger the TOGA mode (for takeoff). Activate LNAV when passing 50 feet, activate a pitch mode when passing 400 feet (earliest). 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
