Cockpit custom views X-Plane 12

I hope you can help me guys. I have an Asus ROG STRIX G51 gaming laptop loaded with X-plane 12. This is a new laptop which has no numlock or numbers keypad.I want to set up cockpit custom views, say 1 thru 9 which I don't seem to be able to do without the keypad. Do I have to buy a new keypad or is an alternative fix available.

You can change the keys for these commands (under Quick Views) in the X-Plane Keyboard settings window.
