@flightyler  This is normal. Read the documentation supplied with the Garmin G500: SIDs and STARs are displayed, but approaches are not processed (the management of approaches by Laminar is different from the management of SIDs, NAVs and STARs, which have waypoint paths).

I found this over on the G500 support forum "This does not affect the HSI for flying approaches, just
the depiction on the map." so the 430 should still drive the HSI on the RNAV approach.

With the G500 coupled to the GNS 430/530 you follow your flight on the G500 (SID / NAV / STAR) and you finish for the approach with the GNS 430/530, whatever the type of approach, it works (ILS / RNAV / VOR APP/ ...)

The HSI does still display the information - or at least it's supposed to. This is the same issue the Entegra SR22 has. It won't display the waypoints on the map but the CDI should display navigation information.

I have not shot an RNAV approach in the MU yet so I cannot confirm or deny if this happens here, though if it does I would expect 50/50 whether it's the MU's fault or the G500 addon itself (I've found a few bugs with it myself as this is the first plane I've bought it to use with, so it very well could be the G500)
