Mac Setup

Hello,

Is there any way possible to use this in a Mac 'Metal' setup.

I notice SkyMaxx pro does not support  Metal, and the FPS under openGL is significantly worse - so SkyMaxx is a wasted purchase for me.

I am currently using NOAA plugin and Vivid Sky for clouds.

I would like to stop the 'pop-in' weather

You could petition Apple to either;

Use vulkan. 

Or

Add support to metal so that it has the same possibilities as vulkan. 

 

In short, no. It's not possible to use it with metal and unless the EU forces apple to change  it likely never will be.

Not a problem, 

I appreciate the feedback. The ability to use this with my own textures would have been great.
