vmilner Posted September 27, 2022 Report Posted September 27, 2022 (edited) Hello. I have just purchased the SR22 Entegra, and I see something unusual with the DFC autopilot. Pressing the Straight-and-Level button levels the wings, but brings the pitch up to about 5 degrees, so the plane is climbing. Is there a calibration of some sort that I need to carry out on the DFC? Thanks! Edited September 30, 2022 by vmilner Quote
Coop Posted September 30, 2022 Report Posted September 30, 2022 Hi, The S&L button on the DFC should command ±2° pitch when pushed (it is not a vertical speed nor altitude hold mode). I haven't seen it go to 5° before. Are you able to record a video of this behavior? Quote
vmilner Posted October 1, 2022 Author Report Posted October 1, 2022 Hi Coop, Checking again today I now see +2.5deg up, which I is tolerable. Sorry, I just started using the SR22 (and loving it!), so I must have messed something up yesterday, because I swear I saw more than 5deg up and climb rates >500 fpm after pressing S&L. Maybe I was at full throttle, which would at least explain the high climb rate... Anyway, it seems Ok now. Thank you very much for a quick response. Valery 1 Quote
