The reversers are triggered by a quick compression on the weight on wheels (wow)-sensor.

"Quick" means a fairly hard landing.

Which is GOOD, especially in wet runway conditions, since you want instant traction of the wheels. "Touching" or "Feeling" for the runway, whilst greatly appreciated by most passengers, is NOT a good landing by airmen standards.

So if they are triggered automatically, it means that it was not a soft landing?:-))?

Trying to determine if your landing was good or bad based on deployment of the reversers is not the way to go.

You don't want it too soft, but you don't want it too hard. Reversers will come on from the "nice to too hard" level.

I know this. Just to know whether that could be further proof in order to assess our landing, as it is reported in the manual: “Thrust reversers have activated when touch down (you have to do a nice landing to autodeploy the reversers. It can happen, that if you make a hard landing, reverser don’t activate".
