Weather Radar [SOLVED]

Greetings all,

 I was wondering if the Radar function worked. I can’t seem to activate the weather radar and the tilting function.

Thanks in advance.

 I found a post on the very same question. It isn’t implemented. A bit disappointed considering the product cost. The functionality of the aircraft is great but no WX!

Yes, we all wish there was a weather radar. However, a weather radar that has any resemblance to the real thing would not have been practical with the X-Plane 11 plugin interfaces available. And then X-Plane 12 will likely change all those interfaces to accommodate the new weather engine so would require the same work to be done all over again. It was decided to save the development time for other features, and wait until 12’s interface to be stable and see what capabilities can be accurately simulated. I hope that helps explain the decision.
