Comm 1 Nav strip is blank

I just got done with a flight, and wanted to do a quick turnaround. I went to import a new flight plan but it won't let me execute it. All FMC operations on the Captains FMC is blank when I click any options (The FO side works fine, but when I try to do anything like import a flight plan it doesn't execute; almost like its frozen internally. And the Nav strip on the Captains MFD is blank. any idea how to fix this?
