TATFSN
Hi, I've flown the Challenger quite a few times and I enjoy it immensely. However, since updating to version 1.6.1 I'm encountering issues that I never had before. The first time I chalked it up to errors on my part. So, I started over with a new airframe and paid closer attention to the items the second time, yet they happened again. --During taxi out, the fuel imbalance annunciation/caution sounds, even though the both tanks were within 400 lbs of each other the first time and within less than 100 lbs of each other on the second try. The annunciation cleared on its own the second time; the first, I had to turn off and then restart the boost pumps to clear the warning. --The more significant issue happened during the in range checklist. All wentnormally until the APU/Packs transition step; the ATS then failed for no reason that I can understand. Resetting it hadno effect; clicking the button on the side of the throttles caused the autopilot to disconnect (?). On the second flight I tried I made a point of manually selecting an N1 limit on the PERF page, which I'd never previously had to do. The ATS still failed. That time, I decided to just continue the approach using manual throttle adjustments. All went more or less normally until the before landing checklist, and the nose steer item. For reasons I can't fathom, the copilot announced, "set go around thrust," and he spontaneously did so. I videoed my flight and reviewed what happened to ensure that I did nothing differently than I did my previous flights. To date I've been unable to complete a flight with the 1.6.1 version. --As an aside, I also noted from the exterior view that the beacons don't work. They just glow a dull red even when the beacon switch is off. It appeared that the anticollision/strobe lights were not working either. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Are there new procedures that have been added with the new version, that I'm missing? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. For now, I'm thinking of just uninstalling 1.6.1 and reinstalling the previous version, that had no such issues. The button on the side of the throttles is the TO/GA button not the ATS disconnect button; you initiated a go-around. 4 hours ago, TATFSN said: They just glow a dull red even when the beacon switch is off. However, make sure you have HDR enabled for the Visual Effects setting.

BetterPilot
When doing the in-range checklist and the F/O calls out N1 TGT, I understand you need to enter a TGT on the thrust limit page to ensure the ATS doesn't disconnect when turning the bleeds off. My question is what value are you supposed to enter into the TGT field? The current htrust setting on the MFD? Thanks

Thanks!

I think some operators use a fixed 91%, as it’s close to the limit for ISA at sea level, and really only a placeholder.
