Hi

I´m using (in several planes) Goflight MCP PRO and EFIs with Sandy Barbour excellent plugin:

http://www.xpluginsdk.org/goflight.htm

With CRJ-200 , the EFIS is not working since the default functions for the EFIS not match "the plane functions"

¿it is possible to publish the "airplane functions" to be mapped to the butons?

The default EFIS assignement is the following (works OK with default planes)

Description Goflight Plugin Function

TERR button No Function Assigned

POS button EFIS_SYM_NDB

DATA button EFIS_SYM_VOR

ARPT button EFIS_SYM_ARPT

WPT button EFIS_SYM_WPT

STA button EFIS_SYM_TCAS

WXR button EFIS_SYM_WXR

Toggle in ADF1 EFIS_ADF_SEL1

Toggle in VOR1 EFIS_VOR_SEL1

Toggle in ADF2 EFIS_ADF_SEL2

Toggle in VOR2 EFIS_VOR_SEL2

Left knob push (DH/MDAF) ALTIMETER_SET_STD

Right knob push (BARO) METRIC_PRESSURE

Left selector APP EFIS_ND_MODE_APP

Left selector VOR EFIS_ND_MODE_VOR

Left selector MAP EFIS_ND_MODE_MAP

Left selector PLAN EFIS_ND_MODE_PLAN

Right selector 10 NM EFIS_ND_RANGE_10NM

Right selector 20 NM EFIS_ND_RANGE_20NM

Right selector 40 NM EFIS_ND_RANGE_40NM

Right selector 80 NM EFIS_ND_RANGE_80NM

Right selector 160 NM EFIS_ND_RANGE_160NM

Right selector 320 NM EFIS_ND_RANGE_320NM

Right selector 640 NM EFIS_ND_RANGE_640NM

Thanks

Marcello

Hi,

I am relatively new to the whole topic of data refs and, in all honesty, I don't fully understand how they work in X-plane. I am setting up a home cockpit for the CRJ 200 with GoFlight modules and got almost everything to work with Sandy Barbour's fantastic GoFlight plugin, but I am missing the CRJ-specific functions. Can any kind person here tell me what the steps are to extend the list of standard X-plane functions, so that the the CRJ-specific functions (e.g. windshield wiper, overhead panel brightness, etc.) show up in Sandy's plugin? I am sure it's relatively easy, I just can't figure it out. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Best,

Andreas

The CRJ200 specific datarefs will simply not work with goflight products since sandy barbour did not rewriting his scripts. You really should take other hardware where it is easy to asign custom commands.

Sorry not a nice answer but the truth - goflight will not work with datarefs which sandy did not implement in his script - and he told that this will maybe not happen cause it is a lot of work.

Cheers Tom
