semibold Posted September 12, 2011 Report Posted September 12, 2011 So I installed the CRJ successfully. But I was having trouble pulling, clicking etc the switches. Even after watching the startup tutorials I couldn't activate the main battery switch. So, I tried reinstalling the plane, 4 times, and this is the error i get. What am I doing wrong? Quote
Japo32 Posted September 12, 2011 Report Posted September 12, 2011 Did you installed in the main directory of x-plane? or did you installed in the aircraft folder?. You MUST install it in the main folder of X-Plane. (point it on the installer). Please install it again. Quote
semibold Posted September 12, 2011 Author Report Posted September 12, 2011 yes i installed it in the root of x-plane the first time. had trouble with the switched, then re-installed it there as well. that is when i got the error Quote
Cameron Posted September 12, 2011 Report Posted September 12, 2011 Did you purchase this from X-Plane.org?This forum is for support of products from X-Aviation.com (that installer looks like the org installer). That said, in the spirit of assisting you and welcoming you to X-Pilot, I'll help you out.It appears your issue is in the library. Please do the following:1. Go to your home folder. You can get to this by going to your desktop, then the menu in your toolbar that states "Go," then click "Home"2. Press the following keys together: Command Shift G3. Type in: Library4. You'll now see a folder in there called "Frameworks." Open this folder5. Delete the folders: QtCore.framework and QtGui.framework6. Re-run your installer.Hope this helps, and welcome to X-Pilot. We'd certainly love to see you around X-Aviation too! Quote
semibold Posted September 12, 2011 Author Report Posted September 12, 2011 I apologize if I was not supposed to get support here. Yes I purchased it from X-Plane.org. Thank you very much for helping me. I will try this. Quote

Japo32 Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 glad you solved it.. but please (not only saying to you) each vendor has his own support area. Don't worry because we the creators are in both places. Quote
