Fresh install. Livery functions not working.

I have just installed the torque sim sr22-g1000.  It seems that most functions are working but I get a weird message. 
 

“Whoops!
 

This Livery does not support changing the tail number 

Either this is a special livery, or it was not configured by the livery author. See the manual for more information. “

I looked in the manual there is nothing that discusses this problem.

Hi Tony,

The default blank paint that is loaded by X-Plane by default does not support custom tail numbers, as it isn't a "livery" and there are some technical differences in how it is loaded. Pick a livery in the X-Plane menu and then you should be able to set the tail number from the menu.
