SuperSixBravo44 Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 (edited) I have re-installed the Plane, calibrated my controls etc, but I cant seem to steer the plane at all well on ground. It either goes left or right? What am I doing wrong? I dont have this issue with the TBM/CL650 but this plane is a real problem for me. Can anybody offer any advice? Do i need to use the Experimental flight model? Edited January 16, 2022 by SuperSixBravo44 Quote
Chris007 Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 It needs differential braking especially at slow speeds and some rudder input. It was also a bit tricky for me, because I dont have high end rudder pedals, I have put too much pressure at first. Try to steer with rudder and if it is too ineffective, just tip the brake a bit. As far as I know efm is recommended. Quote
Coop Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 Something that also can help, adjusting the toe-brake response curve in X-Plane settings so it is shallower for initial deflections, that helps with sensitivity issues on some rudder pedals. Quote
SuperSixBravo44 Posted February 5, 2022 Author Report Posted February 5, 2022 Sorry guys I have had a touch of Covid and not been around. I dont have rudder pedals, I am using the Thrust master TCA Airbus stick and the Dual engine quadrant, so I am a twisty boy lol. Any tips on using that? I will try the above too. Quote
Coop Posted February 6, 2022 Report Posted February 6, 2022 X-Plane should automatically introduce differential braking with that setup, changing the yaw axis control curve is another option. Quote
