[SOLVED] Nav Radio Auto Tuning?

Hi guys, I wanted to ask for some advice........the nav radio in the crj200 wants to auto tune when approaching a destination airport correct????? I ask this because coming from KSFO to KLAX two days ago I made all the approach intructions to the FMS before departing...the Sadde6 approach into runway 25l on the ils which was active and the nav 1 radio kept setting itself ....I then kept trying to set it manually to the 109.9 correct freq for the ils and it would flick back! Now i am almost positive that this is my error but how should I handle this correctly....I am confused as to how this works and would love an explanation as to how to get this auto tune feature to work properly, is it tuning itself to the VOR's on the approach and then the ILS and I was just being premature or should it be tuning to the ils frequency?

There is a setting to switch between manual and automatic tuning. I think it's in the FMC, but check the manual (or wait for a better post to follow - I'm not flying her until the XPUIPC issue is solved)

Thanks so much and yup I just put palm to face as I re read the manual and saw that I was flying with the radio in auto! D'oh d'oh d'oh Thanks again
