philipwyatt Posted July 15, 2011 Report Share Posted July 15, 2011 Hi guys, I wanted to ask for some advice........the nav radio in the crj200 wants to auto tune when approaching a destination airport correct????? I ask this because coming from KSFO to KLAX two days ago I made all the approach intructions to the FMS before departing...the Sadde6 approach into runway 25l on the ils which was active and the nav 1 radio kept setting itself ....I then kept trying to set it manually to the 109.9 correct freq for the ils and it would flick back! Now i am almost positive that this is my error but how should I handle this correctly....I am confused as to how this works and would love an explanation as to how to get this auto tune feature to work properly, is it tuning itself to the VOR's on the approach and then the ILS and I was just being premature or should it be tuning to the ils frequency?Many thanks in advance for some assistance!!Phil Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
