swd282 Posted January 9, 2022 Report Posted January 9, 2022 Ive followed all the procedures. After landing, I follow up to the shutdown (not secure becouse I am going to keep flying). However, Engines are OFF but ITT keeps at 300-330°. Is it normal?
jetpipeoverheat Posted January 9, 2022 Report Posted January 9, 2022 I see your SAT is 34C, so yes the engines will stay hot for a while especially in calm wind. If you need to quick turn, you can dry motor the engines. To dry motor, simply engage the starter and wait for ITT below 120C until introducing fuel.
