Sweetyflieshigh Posted January 3, 2022 Report Posted January 3, 2022 Just did my first flight with the SR22 G1000 (Torquesim/aspired version). Wonderful plane and model - the motor gives a feeling of being truly alive... But I think that I encountered a bug: when I tried to tune a new NAV1 frequency with the virtual keyboard of the plane, I encountered erratic behaviour. I could key in the new frequency, but when I tried to swap the active/passive frequencies, it did'nt swap as intended. Instead, it swapped inactive frequencies between NAV1 and NAV2. And I think (although not totally sure) that in some instances, it simply reverted to the frequency that was present before I keyed in a new value. When using the rotary knobs and the swap button on the G1000 itself, all is fine. Am I the only one experiencing this? details of the install: Windows 11, X-Plane 11.55 - SR22 G1000 v1.2.2. cheers! Coop Posted January 3, 2022 Report Posted January 3, 2022 Hi David, This is the X-Plane GCU, we've seen some oddities with it, make sure the NAV frequency is entered in full (including the two trailing digits) and that NAV is still selected on the GCU before flip-flopping the frequencies using the GCU flip button Quote
Sweetyflieshigh Posted January 3, 2022 Author Report Posted January 3, 2022 Thanks for your prompt reply and your advises. FYI: on their own, the trailing digits did'nt make it. But I tested further and the CLR button did the trick (combined with your suggestions). Somewhere, a buffer got emptied I guess... thanks for your support! David 1 Quote
