TrikeMike Posted December 6, 2021 Report Posted December 6, 2021 This is a re-post from Help on Nov. 22. Message: I have enjoyed flying the TBM900 for several months with no problem. In the past few week I have had the program crash while flying. In a couple instances it was on climb out. I had two today as I was nearing my destination. The log file ends with: This application has crashed because of the plugin" TBM900 by Hot Start. The file from the latest crash is attached. My computers an iMac running Big Sur.Since the aabove incident I did a short flight, KELM-KROC with no problem. This morning, 11/20/21, I tried a flight from KARB to KROC and had the program crash. The log file has the line, TBM900 [except, c:120]: Caught SIGABORT: abort (0x7ff204d292e). I have attached this file, tbmlogcrash112021. I searched for sigabort and abort and found nothing to help.I have posted in both XPlane and XPilot forums and have received no responses as of today. I hope you can help me with a solutionNote: I couldn't find how to attach my log files. Thanks;MIkeName of product(s) - Put N/A for none: Hot Start TBM900 tbmlogcrash.txt tbmlogcrash112021.txt Quote
Goran_M Posted December 7, 2021 Report Posted December 7, 2021 You have an awful lot going on in that log file. Here are some thing to try off the bat. Try these in the order I post and test after each. Run X-Plane in Windowed mode. (There is a bug in the AMD drivers on Mac's and Windows PC's that cause crashes in full screen mode. There is nothing anyone but AMD can do to fix this, and LR are aware and have also contacted AMD for a fix). Remove XJets and Skunkcraft updater. Test the TBM at SCIP. Failing all that, download another copy of X-Plane without plugins and scenery. Install the TBM and test again in windowed mode. Don't worry...this will have no effect on the activations of the TBM if installed on the same computer. Post back any findings. Quote
TrikeMike Posted December 8, 2021 Author Report Posted December 8, 2021 So far I have tried running in windowed mode with no success. I disabled x-jets and skunk craft updaters using the plugin manager and that didn't solve the problem. Do I have to remove these completely from x-plane 11? What is SCIP? I have littlenavmap and turned off its connection to x-plane 11. Attached are the log files from the test flights. I don't have this problem with any of the other planes I fly. Goran_M Posted December 9, 2021 Report Posted December 9, 2021 SCIP is an airport on a small island. It's many developers "test" airport. I'm afraid you'll have to go to my final suggestion. Download another copy of X-Plane without scenery, and test in there. It's almost a guarantee that another plugin or plugins is not playing nice with the TBM. Quote
