FlorianR Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Due to curiosity and preparation of my first A380 flight to Germany, I came accross this very fascinating video of a model of the Lufthansa A380, modeled completely from inside to outside. Here is the link to the video: And for those of you than understand german a little bit, the video about the making of the video is even more interesting. 33,000 hours to render on their computer, 4 years on the average computer. Don't want to know what performance I would get with this model in X-Plane, although it would be a nice plane to have. link to video: http://a380.lufthansa.com/FASCINATION/#/DE/DE/galerie/p1/video/video11Let me know what you think :) Quote

Dozer Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 The Singapore Airlines one I flew on last year had better in-flight entertainment in economy class - we all got a remote-control thing with a lot of buttons to pick our films and music with. Didn't just have three buttons under the screen. Unless they were omitted from the 3d model for clarity!I have no idea how people flew long-distance in the days before all-singing, all-dancing IFE... Simmo W Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 Awesome Florian, those stairs are like a portal to another world. I was waiting for the sweep into the cockpit though! Quote
oregonboy109 Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 Speaking of IFE I flew my first long international flight in january to Peru on a Delta 764, and man my friend and I must have killed 2 hours just on the games. Great job Delta!Awesome A380 BTW Quote
