Tonton007 Posted April 6, 2021 Report Posted April 6, 2021 I just upgraded to version 1.0.1, which according to the advertisement, "include pre-made GNS/GTN configs for all options (See included RealityXP_Configs folder)". How do I switch from one config to another, for example from the default dual GNS430 to a dual GTN650? I do not see a tab or control for that. I see the realityXPconfig folder but what do I do with that? (I even bought the GTN 650 plugin package for Xplane 11 from Reality XP before you released version 1.0.1) Thanks for your help! Coop Posted April 6, 2021 Report Posted April 6, 2021 Hi Arno, Inside the RealityXPConfig folder, there are options labeled for each option, just copy the files from the folder applicable to the GPS config you want, and replace the file(s) of the same name in the aircraft's root. Quote
Tonton007 Posted April 10, 2021 Author Report Posted April 10, 2021 Hi, 1) to be able to see the GTN 650 GPS unit with version 1.0.1 do I need the payware RealityXP program, or is it somehow included in the new update? (In my case it is installed anyway) 2) When I use the GTN650 ini config, the GTN650 units shows properly, BUT, when I do a Direct to a wpt, the green CDI needle swings to the DKT, but the waypoint name does not change to be the same as the one on the GTN unit. 3) The blue bearing pointer remains stuck at some old position after I do a new Direct to 4) If I fiddle with the realityXP plugin settings, I can sometimes manage to bring up the correct wpt name and bearing, but as soon as I do a new Direct to, the names and bearing pointer are wrong again. This makes it unusable for use with a FPL. All this does not happen with the original GNS430 configuration. Any suggestions? Thanks Quote
Coop Posted April 10, 2021 Report Posted April 10, 2021 We do not include the GTN units themselves, purchasing from RXP, as it sounds like you have, is needed. Regarding the config, we have some additional fixes for 1.0.2, but it seems that there are certain bugs on RXP's side that need to be addressed, which we don't have control over. Quote
