Newbie question............Mooney work with X plane?

Hello all,

I am brand new to sims. Flown for over 30 yrs. Now have a Mooney m20k. I have tried for last 3 days to get comfortable with MSFS. But I am ready to try X-Plane.

 

So the question is what software will I need for say- Ovation?  I buy X-plane, then an add on package?

The AFM Mooney Ovations just need X-Plane 11 installed to function.
