Skymaxx 5, discount for existing Skymaxx 4 owners?

I got a message from a friend yesterday, saying that Skymaxx 5 is out and that we, Skymaxx 4 owners get 50% off in the first 60 days. He got a mail about it.

But I did not get any mail about Skymaxx 5, and no discount code.

Could you guys please resend the discount code to my mail address please?

Why not just let the store "discover" that the customer already owns version 4, and automatically give the discount, instead of this way? Just wondering.
