Peterbrau Posted December 17, 2020 Report Posted December 17, 2020 (edited) I cannot get the TKS system to work. I always get the ANTI ICE FLOW warning. If I try to prime with windshield button on with TKS on I never see an ounce of fluid on the windshield or volume going down. Same thing with MAX and backup pump on. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong???? Edited December 17, 2020 by Peterbrau
Coop Posted December 18, 2020 Report Posted December 18, 2020 Under the maintenance tab in the SR22 menu, you can try running TKS system maintenance. It will output a maintenance log file to X-Plane 11/Output/SR22/logbook
Peterbrau Posted December 18, 2020 Author Report Posted December 18, 2020 Thanks for that advice. I just tried that and the log does say the ports were cleaned and primed but still nothing....still get the ANTI ICE FLOW failure. I even cycled the breakers. Bug? Is it possible for you/someone to see if it works on your sim?
Coop Posted December 19, 2020 Report Posted December 19, 2020 In high ambient temperatures, the system has the potential to not function (air bubbles can form in the fluid lines). Additionally, if you are running on battery, low voltages can prevent the system from functioning. These are the most likely culprits, I am not seeing any replicable issues with the TKS system on my end.
