tbissett Posted December 9, 2020 Report Posted December 9, 2020 (edited) Certainly not blaming AFM for this one, but figured I would bring it up in case anyone knows an easy answer. I am using the Cessna 172 combined with REP and the SimAcoustics FMOD experience sound pack. Adding the AFM in to that (or possibly more accurately, adding FMOD into the AFM G5 aircraft) with REP causes the sounds to go strange). So, definitely a conflict there somewhere. Only fix seems to be uninstalling the aircraft entirely, then reinstalling, installing REP, and sticking with the default 172 sounds. Any thoughts anyone? As soon as I find a board for SimAcoustics, I will send a note to SimAcoustics with the same to see what they say Edited December 10, 2020 by tbissett
Coop Posted December 9, 2020 Report Posted December 9, 2020 As the Aircraft .ACF file name is different, X-Plane probably isn't finding the proper FMOD .snd file. Try duplicating and naming the SimAcoustics .snd file (located inside the Aircraft/X-Aviation/Cessna 172SP G5/fmod folder) to be Cessna_172SP_G5.snd. 1
tbissett Posted December 10, 2020 Author Report Posted December 10, 2020 Coop's solution was the fix! Thanks so much for the help! Everything now works together 1
