Japo32 Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 oK... Please make a report to X-aviation about this issue. Thanks!
Cameron Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 Hi,This is because you likely tried to manually uninstall the CRJ. This is a no-no! You must either use the uninstaller, or let the updater do the uninstall for you!Since you've gone this far, go into your main X-Plane folder and delete the CRJ uninstaller if it's still in there, then run the new 1.1 installer. If you're still experiencing problems after the above steps please contact X-Aviation: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/contact_us.php

Cameron Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 Just to let everyone know...I have identified the error in the installer code and have just recompiled it. The new installer is being uploaded as I type this, and if you feel you're having the same problem please contact X-Aviation and we'll set you right up!: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/contact_us.php
lcortez Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 Hello all! My name is Luis, I'll quickly introduce myself. I'm brand new to Xplane (I've been following the CRJ-200 project for months now) and I finally decided to give it a shot! (Been on MSFS since 04)Anyway, I purchased it today and received this error> http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=2356.0 . This question is pretty much directed @ Cameron, you said in that post and via e-mail that you were in the process of uploading a new file with a fix. Sorry if I sound extremely impatient, but I was curious as to when we could expect that out, and how we could go about getting it? I ask because I really wanted to try this plane out before work tomorrow Again, I apologize if I sound impatient, but this plane just looks way too good!
Cameron Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 This is to be handled via e-mail, just as we were. Thanks for the understanding!
Cameron Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 Update:New installer is uploaded and should fix this error. All customers who reported this problem have been notified.
