Hi all,

we would like to announce a development of an scenery creation tool called XHT: XHouseTool.

The XHT use Open Street Maps data to create sceneries for X-Plane allowing pretty strong customization of the way how data are converted.

In short it means that anyone should be able to say the XHT the way the data will be transformed. That should better cover all the differencies the architecture has in different world parts.

If you are interested, read more on http://xplane.cz/en/2011/05/30/xht-projekt-odtajnen/

I attached some screenshots here but you can found more of them in the article.

Cheers,

Artoo & Premek

Just for an idea...

Artoo played two days ago with the XHT and processed a small village next to Mlada Boleslav where the article's where the article's pictures were taken.

The only necessary modification needed for what you see was just set leveling tags for block of flats and specify tree's polygons.

The XHT template stays unchanged from what was prepared for previous pictures in the article.

Complete procedure to "build" a village on those pictures took no more than 15 minutes...
