Nova
Hiho, me yet again. ;DI am currently trying to get the arrival for LSZH into the FMC,but i just can't get it right. The route is KPT1S KPT L856 NEGRA NEGRA1Z.As always i set the wanted STAR first on the ARR screen. Now i get the chance to select the desired approach. I chose ILS14. This leads to a routefrom AMIKI to CF14, OSEM, RW14. However this is not the right/puplished route for ILS14 approach. So i chose to use AMIKI transition as well, whichinserts then the right route to ILS14 (ZUE VOR, ZH701, TRA VOR), expectthe last 2 point including the FAF.The whole end looks like this right now:[...]ETOXUNEGRAAMIKICF14 (ILS14)OSNEMRW14ZUE (this would be the missed approach i guess, but it's wrong anyways)AMIKI (why go back again?)ZUE (now we get the right ILS14 route inserted)ZH701TRAAMIKI (yet again back to AMIKI?!?)LSZHCould someone please check this (not necessary Japo or Phillip) if you get the same result?Using the latest cycle 1105. Nova
I wrote the route of the ILS14 appraoch already in my initial post. Here is the link to the charts: http://www.vacc.ch/file/79THe route, started from NEGRA, should look like this:(STAR beginn) NEGRA -> MATIV -> AMIKI (STAR end) -> (ILS14 begin) ZUE -> ZH701 -> TRA -> CF14 -> OSNEM -> RW14But i get this completly wierd route, when i use NEGRA1A STAR with ILS14 and AMIKI.(STAR beginn) NEGRA -> AMIKI (STAR end) -> CF14 -> OSNEM -> RW14 -> ZUE -> AMIKI -> ZUE -> ZH701 -> TRA -> AMIKIShould have posted the screen of the funny looking route. The go arounds are inserted, kind of, always. Only the FIX where they end, and a straight line back to the airport are included. But they are never accurate. The "ZUE -> AMIKI" after RW14 is the missed appraoch route. But flying direct to ZUE would be wrong. You would have to fly on rwy heading until 5.1 DME KLO, make a left turn to heading 360° to intercept the radial 054° on ZUE VOR. Dispatch
I'm from ZRH. The MA routes are not too accurate. Especially ZRH has got X-Plane bugs. See missing ILS28. The very only thing making me curious about your route is the return to AMIKI out of TRA. Doing the missed approach will guide you to the AMIKI Holding and back to TRA for final. But why return to AMIKI again ... not a clue. There is no need to do. For some reasons, FMC is guiding you back into the AMIKI holding. Just one more "Safety issue" (if there is some curious procedure in real aviation, we assume it being meant for some sort of "safety") ;-)
Nova
The main problem here is, that he inserts the approach after the missed approach. As long as you use a transition, everything is fine. He will insert the transition in front of the approach.I will try a standard ILS approach today at EDDN or EDDM. Let's see if he can do them right, althoughit's not very common that you get them. Nova
Tested with other airports, but those had the right routes. So either it's a bug in the FMC, that is related to LSZH, or the nav data is wrong? Can't get a working route to even one of the runways. He always inserts the "transition"behind the ILS, instead of overwriting it. :'(
