I prioritized wrong, and bought the CRJ.

Am I the only one not being able to read the MFD clearly? I must zoom in a lot until I can make sense of the mash of pixels on my screen.

Extreme res, pixel shaders on, 1920x1200 on a 24".

It might have state of the art systems and such, but being that I can't read my speed, altitude or vertical speed unless I zoom kind of kills the joy.

I don't have a problem with the numbers, but more with the ILS markers.

I can barely see those magenta diamonds.

While the G/S is somehow guessable the LOC is absolutely not findable.

I'm not a fan of those pop-ups. they kill the whole emersion from using

this nice 3D pit and TrackIR.

Ok, then you both could do something with the pilot view program putting a more close view. Also change your angle view in rendering. You will lose peripherical surround areas, but more clear vision of displays in 3d.

Also you can delete the frame of the popup display.

Yes... install XHSI on second computer.

Did that already before purchasing the plane. Also nice to have the Navigraph software installed on the second PC.

Sometimes a single 27" screen is simply not enough  ;D

Helps a lot while plane hopping - which is usual for flightsimmers, isn't it?

Well, the 3d cockpit is modelled according to real measurements. The screens are not bigger in the real thing than they are in the simulator. But in the real thing, you have much a broader view than even a 27in. monitor. To compensate for this limitation, we provide the popup-screens. The resolution of the popup screens is the same as of the little screens. So they are smaller, but not "blurrier".

If you absolutely don't want the popups, you will have to either adjust your field-of-view setting to a more close-up perspective, or you setup a closer view to use with pilot view plugin.
