Also, after you start the X-Plane, go to Plugins - TBM900 - Configure visual effects....and select all the Ticks and Rain&Ice to High

Hopefuly it will work

After you play with the rain effects, try to upgrade the X-Plane to Beta and see if Vulkan increases your framerate

The version is OK, don't worry, is the 'official one, if you want to try the 11.50b10, go to the folder of X-Plane11, start the X-Plane 11 Installer and select the box for Beta versions

The new Beta version is changing the Graphics Engine to use the new Vulkan drivers which are more modern and the sim should become much smoother. Being a beta, not all the add-ons are yet working, they need to be updated, librain being one of them, due to using some 'undocumented' graphics features.

Anyhow, at starting X-Plane, in the settings you can choose to use Vulkan or not, as I shown you before.

Please check the attachments, so you can try to get the Beta

If your hardware configuration is not very good, try to run at a lower resolution, it might help.

At least we know that it works.

Try to play with the settings, adjust them little bit by little bit and find a reasonable compromise.

Unfortunately, the flight simulators are very demanding on hardware resources.... Imagine what will be with the coming Microsoft Flight Simulator....

Also, if you are using an Nvidia card, try the Beta version, using the Vulkan, you will not have for now the rain effects, but it might improve the smoothness of the X-Plane
