Correct setup for braking?

I assigned a button on my controller to sim/flight_controls/brakes_regular(Hold brakes regular). However, it brings insufficient braking on this aircraft.

Also, the parking brake alarm will activate every time I try to brake.

What is the correct key mapping?

Sounds like you the same or similar  problem as I have. I tried both hold brakes regular and hold brakes maximum which is the setting that I have been using since plane came out.

Everything worked up until latest update, since then no braking power. Soon as I start engine plane takes off, and have no control. They say they did nothing but.

Have you found a solution yet?

Nothing has changed with the brakes in the last update.  Check your key or hardware assignments.  I've just tested this myself, and have no problems.  The V key is used to apply the brakes.
