Cockpit View Vanishes

Hi there - just bought this lovely aircraft. Loaded her for my first flight and I've already run into a big issue:

The cockpit vanishes when I pan the camera to look around. This is particularly bad when I zoom in. For instance, I'll pan down and zoom in on the FMC to type something into it and as I look down and zoom, the entire screen goes blue. Sometimes, if I leave the camera zoomed in, the cockpit appears again. Only for it to flicker away as soon as I change zoom. The cabin views seem to work so this is limited to only inside the cockpit.

Best thing I can compare it to is it's like when you slew the camera through an object like a chair in some aircraft - the entire screen goes blue until you pass through the object. I've tried moving the camera forward in case panning around resulted in the camera merging with the head rest or something. No luck.

Really concerned that no one else has complained about this... I've turned off head shake from the menu as that messed with my camera offset but this cockpit vanishing issue still persists.

Gonna try re-installing but would prefer not to have to re-download it all from scratch.\

please try again with the option "Show vortices" NOT selected in the left-screen-popout-menu (Preferences) - and let me know if this fixes the problem for you?

Turned it off and loaded a new flight. So far the problem seems SOLVED. Thanks for the quick help!

Just for others' reference, I'll upload a pic of what the issue looked liked.

No problem - the "show vortices" option was a remnant from X-Plane 10 times when it still worked. It was a "semi-legal" way of coding it, and X-Plane 11 doesn´t like it anymore.

Thats why it will be gone with our next patch (version 1.3).

X-Plane 11 is now supporting "particles", so this effect is done natively.
