Can’t steer and better pushback failure

Hello!

I am facing two problems that I think are connected.... I can’t steer the plane for taxi, and when I call Better Pushback, it can’t leave me where I ask. So I think there is something wrong with the gears.

I am following the flight tutorial document (by the way, it needs to be updated - items have changed/are missing/incorrect), so I followed all steps outlined, and still have the problem.

How can I solve that?

Did you disengage the lock by pulling the steering tiller?

I'm sorry but I can't get that to work.

The nosewheel doesn't respond to my rudder inputs.

This is with both positions of the steering tiller.

I also have a button on my throttle (X52) assigned to Toggle Nosewheel Steering.  When the nosewheel is unlocked the only time it moves is when I come to a halt, when it does a complete left to right spin.

Are the engines running and is the aircraft moving?

Can you steer using the mouse and tiller?

I wondered what the twist on that control was for because it didn't seem to do anything.

I'll check at the weekend.  I'll get into a taxi and then give the tiller a pull and a twist.

It works!

I had to push the tiller down.  I'm sure I tried that but maybe not while moving.
