rmv1030 Posted April 9, 2020 Report Posted April 9, 2020 ok..downloaded your great tbm900 a few days ago..beautiful product...took awhile to learn proper set up, start up etc...now..two huge problems: 1. I use x 52 joy and throttle, and it works great on all my a/c, but the nosewheel steering on the hotstart doesn't work with my usual joystick twist assignment (works on every other a/c I have) 2. forget the parking brake!...I don't use rudder pedals so I followed what the manual tells me....ng...it must be me...my normal trigger for brakes and space bar for parking does nothing I am really frustrated with this thing, I just hope one of you out there can shed some light on all this….still have not flown cause I cant even taxi to runway. please help if u can, otherwise I have spent a lot of money on a product I cant use thanx bob Quote
Goran_M Posted April 10, 2020 Report Posted April 10, 2020 Can you post a log.txt file. I have the exact same hardware that you do, and I'm having no issues with steering, so I'm only guessing at this point, that there is something overriding your nose wheel steering and not allowing it. The Park Brake is usually released by rotating the dial under the control column on the panel. Does this not work for you when you engage the brake pedals? Any further info on the steps you took would be helpful. Quote
rmv1030 Posted April 10, 2020 Author Report Posted April 10, 2020 first of all thank you Goran for taking the time to respond..not much more I can add re this problem..i did another fresh download..still ng..and yes I do rotate the parking brake to park and unpark...but what did u mean when you asked.."did you engage the brake pedals"...I don't have rudder pedals I read the manual and it does mention how to use parking brake for those who do not have rudder pedals..it says.."use the button or key to apply brakes to normal effort" again..thanx for the reply,,this is making me crazy lol bob Quote
rmv1030 Posted April 10, 2020 Author Report Posted April 10, 2020 ok...fixed...went to my x52 settings and found duplicate yaw settings...also found brakes maximum instead of brakes regular...don't know how that happened but I really believe its the work of poltergeist...lol.....thanx again Goran bob Quote
