bxreppin Posted February 29, 2020 Report Posted February 29, 2020 (edited) Hello. I have an issue with the aileron trim being pegged left. Not the rudder trim. Which has me banking left. I click the right trim button in the cockpit which causes to needle to bump right but stays pegged left. Any help would be appreciated. Edited February 29, 2020 by bxreppin Quote
Goran_M Posted March 1, 2020 Report Posted March 1, 2020 (edited) Please unplug all hardware and reload the sim. If the trim is not pegged to the left, the problem is with your hardware. Edited March 2, 2020 by Goran_M Quote
bxreppin Posted March 2, 2020 Author Report Posted March 2, 2020 unplugged the yoke and reloaded the sim. The aileron trim is now centered. The problem is definitely the yoke. You're a genius. Now I need to figure out why my $1000 yoke has a problem. Thank you for your help. Quote
Goran_M Posted March 2, 2020 Report Posted March 2, 2020 Had to edit my original post. Sorry if it caused any confusion. It was pretty late. Anyway, it could be something as simple as a rogue button assignment. Check all assignments and if you have any LUA scripts, check those too. Should be a fairly simple fix. Quote
bxreppin Posted March 2, 2020 Author Report Posted March 2, 2020 No worries! I understood what you meant. So, I used the test and calibrate utility from the yoke manufacturer and confirmed that left aileron trim switch is active even when the sim is not running,. Appears to be a hardware issue. Quote
