drh Posted October 13, 2019 Report Posted October 13, 2019 I am worried the Catalina operating System will not be able to use the Installers for the IXEG-TBM900, and The LEVC. I am seeing that they are all 32 bit and Catalina will be 64 bit. Is there any Chance That the installers will be upgraded to 64 bit? Regards Quote
Cameron Posted October 13, 2019 Report Posted October 13, 2019 The installers is least of your or our worries. Transition to 64 bit is relatively easy. What is not is that Apple now has a new security signature system in place that will render plugins/dll's/xpl's essentially useless at the moment. Laminar does not even have answers yet on how to deal with this. It's a bit of a mess. Bottom line: avoid Catalina for now. Quote
Cameron Posted October 28, 2019 Report Posted October 28, 2019 This is an update on the situation to say that we have converted some of our products/installers to utilize the new security protocols Apple requires for OS X Catalina, as well as 64-bit installers. As of this writing, some of our most popular products have been converted and uploaded to our servers. These products that will now work in Catalina are: TBM 900 IXEG 737 Saab 340A Dubai/OMDB TerraMaxx SkyMaxx Pro v4 Pocket Rocket Gate to the Great Lakes: Custer Gate to the Great Lakes: Fox Islands Work continues on updating further products, and we will likely send out a mass newsletter once every product is complete. 2 Quote
63 Degrees Right Posted November 20, 2019 Report Posted November 20, 2019 Hello, It looks like the uninstaller is 32bit hence it won't uninstall previous version. Is there anyway to manually uninstall/ remove TBM so that previous version removal dialog does not appear? There has been an error. Error running /Volumes/X-Plane/X-Plane 11/X-Aviation/Uninstall TBM 900.app/Contents/MacOS/installbuilder.sh : /Volumes/X-Plane/X-Plane 11/X-Aviation/Uninstall TBM 900.app/Contents/MacOS/installbuilder.sh: line 20: /Volumes/X-Plane/X-Plane 11/X-Aviation/Uninstall TBM 900.app/Contents/MacOS/osx-intel: Bad CPU type in executable The application will exit now. Cameron Posted November 20, 2019 Report Posted November 20, 2019 Yes. You can manually delete the entire TBM 900 folder in the X-Plane/Aircraft/X-Aviation folder, and then delete the TBM 900 uninstaller located in X-Plane/X-Aviation. Quote
artcarney Posted February 16, 2020 Report Posted February 16, 2020 Will there be some way to know when an installer has been updated to 64-bit? In my case, I'm waiting for the MU-2 to be updated. Thanks! Quote
