Hi guys,

Got TBM couple days ago and very much impressed with your work guys, congratulations!

Anyway, I got my first engine failure above West Papua while I was cruising at FL280. Engine was all in green for about 2-3 hours and all if the sudden all engine parameters started going down slowly (NG, RPM, ITT). Toll-tip message at the top of the screen was saying something about "engine collecting oil residue" ... unfortunately didn't record exact message. I managed to land on local af and maintenance tab was showing damaged propeller, nothing else. Any idea what I did wrong or what kind of conditions can trigger propeller damage of this nature?

Cheers

It really could've been one of a few things.  The TBM we made will have failures depending on what you do to it.  It could've been something as minor as moving the throttle lever slightly forward while the engine was off.  You will really have to follow everything by the book on this aircraft, otherwise issues, small and large, will eventually come up.

And nice to see another Goran in the X-Plane world.

Unfortunately I didn't record the flight, I should probably start doing it for sake of being able to back trace all the steps I made. Is there a log or something that could be examined for possible clues?

Yes, very nice to see my name attached to such a great product :)

No.  X-Plane doesn't keep a log of actions you perform in the aircraft.
