rddaos Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 I created a flight plan in the C400 flight computer and then saved it. Although I can use the C400 computer to browse for the saved flight plan, and I can indeed locate it, when I load it, nothing happens. Any ideas? Thanks... Quote

Thanks...Are you able to "load" any of your flight plans? Or, does this only happen with the flight plan you saved from the C400?If you post the flight plan file I will take a look at it.Jim Quote
rddaos Posted April 19, 2011 Author Report Posted April 19, 2011 No, I cannot load any flight plans. Please see the attached flight plan file. I had to attach it as a .txt file extension, because the website doesnt accept .fms extensions. Thanks!MIA_to_UCA2.txt Quote

Thanks!OK, I think have found the problem. If you look at the sample file you sent me you will see that the fifth line has no/blank data. This line describes the "starting" location for the FMS. This usually occurs when you fail to press the INIT Key and then the D> (Direct To) Key "PRIOR" to entering the subsequent waypoints. Please see page 137 of the C400 POH (Rev. 100118-01a) under the Heading "CREATING AN ACTIVE FLIGHT PLAN" for the proper sequence for creating a flight plan. This should solve your problem.Good luck.Jim Quote
