Hello, long time lurker here, buuuuut... I have owned the IXEG 737 since the first 24 hours it was released. I have enjoyed hundreds of hours of flying it all over the world in X-Plane 10 and 11.

However.... it is showing its age in the visuals department. I read an update about the doors finally being able to be opened in an upcoming update, among other things, but I don't remember seeing anything about updating the textures. I play in 4k resolution, so it's really noticeable. The cockpit isn't as bad as the cabin, but it is showing its age really bad. If the development team isn't already planning a texture upgrade, I beg of you to take it into consideration, because I have freeware that looks better at this point. Yes, the systems, the systems, that's the main focus of this simulation, I understand. For the amount of money I spent on this though and the bracket level of quality that it is, it deserves to look good as well.

Oh and PS, is there any way you could add external GPU and air cart sounds? The lack of it and complete silence is really noticeable and immersion killing. Thanks.

Hi there,

when we made the IXEG many moons ago, texture size was still a very important factor for many users - as it directly translates to VRAM usage and we deliberately opted to make the external textures "frugal" with regard to that.

The cabin textures were more or less a "placeholder" for a better 3D cabin...which hasn´t arrived yet.

I agree on the external cart sounds, would be nice to have and may be fairly easy to implement.

Cheers, Jan

still true ! please don't increase the visual quality. I love the reduced footprint of the IXEG. I can do really matters : flying from the flight deck and training !
