Xpillo Posted May 7, 2019 Report Posted May 7, 2019 Can someone check at this "ICAO= ETSL"-LECHFELD airport the frequency of VOR-TAC 108.80? I do not receive a signal in this frequency with the TMB900, but with other planes I have no problem receiving the signal from this VOR-TAC station. Thanks Quote
Jakob Ludwig Posted May 7, 2019 Report Posted May 7, 2019 In the German Mil AIP LCH is a TACAN. This is only receivable by aircraft equipped with a TACAN radio receiver. Otherwise you will only receive the DME value of the station and no direction/radial information. What navaid information is available from the X-Plane database? Lookup the map. Quote
Xpillo Posted May 7, 2019 Author Report Posted May 7, 2019 You try any other plane and tune to the frequency 108.80 and you will see that not only do you get the dme, but you also provide direction and radial. Only the TMB900 does not receive DME, DIRECTION/RADIAL. You have tried another plane and have tuned the frequency 108.80 ?, try it and tell me if you only receive the DME from that station. Quote
