fgeorge8 Posted April 1, 2019 Report Posted April 1, 2019 I am unable to use the TBM900 app. On the first flight i crashed and now every time i start a new flight it starts with the same problems. this happens whether i start on the ground or on a 10 mile final and regardless of what runway i start on. The airplane quickly catches on fire and does not fly. I have loaded the two updates that have come through the latest of which was 900 v1.1.8. It still starts the same with a fire and does not fly. I have tried resetting the failures going through each one and selecting "always working". After setting up a new flight it starts on fire and i go back and the failures are all there again. I have a serious glitch on the application and i don't know how to correct it. I have flown other airplanes that come with the package which have worked fine. I also flew the Corenado TBM add on and it worked fine. Can someone suggest what I can do to correct this? Thanks Quote
Goran_M Posted April 1, 2019 Report Posted April 1, 2019 When you load the TBM, change the location to another area of the airport. A different gate or ramp. The fire should stop. Quote
fgeorge8 Posted April 1, 2019 Author Report Posted April 1, 2019 Thanks for getting back . I did do that. I changed to a different runways several times. I also tried a different airport. I also changed to 10 mile final where it caught on fire and i went into a spin and crashed again. I switched back to a runway and still the fire. Quote
Goran_M Posted April 1, 2019 Report Posted April 1, 2019 Can you delete everything out of the "X-Plane 11/Output/TBM900/state" folder and then reload the TBM in a completely different location. If it does the same thing again, can you attach the log.txt file found in the X-Plane root folder. Quote
fgeorge8 Posted April 1, 2019 Author Report Posted April 1, 2019 I will try that tonight. I don't have the computer at work. Thanks for the help. I will let you know how it goes. Quote
fgeorge8 Posted April 2, 2019 Author Report Posted April 2, 2019 That did it. I really appreciate the help on this. It was getting very frustrating. I do have another question now that i have things working. On the G1000 i am not able to get to some of the systems menus. I cannot get to the Aux Page Group (as well as others). I wanted to change from North up etc. I can switch between MAP WPT and NRST but none of the others. Thanks again for your help. Quote
Goran_M Posted April 2, 2019 Report Posted April 2, 2019 The G1000 is the default X-Plane G1000 with some extras added by Saso. So as far as showing systems, map orientation and map modes, this is all limited by the default G1000. Quote
fgeorge8 Posted April 2, 2019 Author Report Posted April 2, 2019 Thanks again for your help. As long as i can fly i can live with that. 1 Quote

Make sure MAP is selected on your MFD. (center screen) 2. Press the MENU button on the FMS panel located below the MFD. PAGE MENU with an OPTIONS should now display on your MFD screen with either Map North Up or Map Track Up. 3. To change your orientation press the ENT button. Hoping this helps! Dwight Quote

I've learned a heck a lot more about the TBM 900 from you, than I'm afraid you'll ever learn from me Thanks to you, and everyone else involved with Hotstart for the awesome support.
