Although a limited datapoint, with 419.35 I was unable to fly the TBM900 through a takeoff and a full approach without a CTD - this on both 1.1.7 and although I could fly longer, often with 1.1.6...

Nvidia released 419.67 for my GTX-1070ti and Windows 7-64bit today...  I made it through a full takeoff from KASE and flew the LOC DME approach back into the airport, including taxing off, shutting down the plane and CLEANLY exiting X-Plane 11 (with 1.1.6).

This is a first for me using the TBM900 model & X-plane.

Interesting.  I don't use any shader program...don't see any point since they're all going to break when Vulcan comes along.  Anyway, when I first got X-Plane it worked fine with a driver that, I think, was about 6 months old.  I updated the driver back in December and X-Plane graphics got corrupted whenever it started.  I reverted back and haven't changed since.  I just got the TBM yesterday and it starts up fine.  Haven't taken a flight but, so far, so good.  I may try the latest driver at some point and I definitely will update if it causes a problem, but a lesson I learned a long time ago is that you don't update video drivers unless you have a reason.  That is, don't upgrade just because there's a new driver.

The TBM uses shaders for the rain and ice.

Yeah, X-Plane does too.  The problem, to me, with all the shader control apps is that they create a near infinite number of combinations thereby increasing the odds of a video card crash.  Like I said, when Vulcan comes the whole shader mechanism changes (and there may be a lot of video card crashes as that comes into play.)  Probably years off yet.
